We've got answers...
What is a super fine grade of pea?
"Super fine" refers to the particle size of the protein powder. A super fine grade of pea protein has been milled or processed to create a smoother, more uniform texture. Why does that matter? Because it mixes better (less clumping), feels lighter on the palate, and is easier to digest. It also blends more seamlessly into liquids, so you don’t feel like you’re drinking something gritty or chalky.
Why have we used brown rice and not white rice ?
When combined with pea protein, there’s no significant difference between brown rice and white rice protein in terms of amino acid profile or digestibility. However, brown rice protein offers a nutritional edge, being richer in micronutrients and fiber due to its whole-food composition.
Why is my protein tasting bitter?
A slight bitterness is actually quite common with plant-based proteins. Pea and brown rice protein, which form the base of our blend, naturally have a mild earthy or bitter note, particularly when they aren’t masked by artificial sweeteners or heavy flavoring agents. If you’re mixing the powder with just water, the taste is more noticeable. If it feels a bit strong, try blending it with plant milk to help round out the flavor.
What tests are performed in each batch? Where can I find the reports?
Each batch of our protein goes through third-party testing for protein content, microbial safety, heavy metals (like lead, arsenic, cadmium, and mercury), pesticides, aflatoxin B1 and gluten. These tests help ensure that every scoop you take is safe, clean, and delivers exactly what the label promises. You can find our reports for each batch by scanning the QR code on the back of your pack.
Will heating the protein destroy its nutrients?
Not entirely. Heating protein, like when you bake with it or stir it into warm oatmeal - may slightly change its structure (a process called denaturation), but this doesn’t make it useless. Your body can still digest and absorb the amino acids just fine. What might get affected are some of the more heat-sensitive nutrients, like certain vitamins or enzymes (for example, bromelain), which may lose some potency at high temperatures. But overall, if you’re adding it to warm foods or using it in cooking occasionally, it’s still a great way to get your protein in.
Is this protein suitable for people with diabetes?
While the product is made with natural, plant-based ingredients, it's always best to consult a healthcare provider before using any protein supplements.
Is it safe to take during pregnancy or breastfeeding?
While the product is made with natural, plant-based ingredients, it's always best to consult a gynaecologist or healthcare provider before using any protein supplements during pregnancy or breastfeeding.
What is the best way to consume this protein ?
For best results, mix with 300 ml of ice-cold water in a shaker. It’s also fine to use tepid, warm, or hot water, or plant-based milk. Perfect for a smoothie or a shake with our protein, fresh fruit, and water or plant-based milk. Use a shaker or blender to reduce lumps and improve solubility. Highly recommended to consume within 15 minutes of preparation, as the taste may change if left standing too long due to the activation of bromelain.
Is this product vegan?
Yes, it’s vegan. All ingredients are 100% plant-based. But we want to call out one thing: this is made in our facility that also handles dairy (like whey). So while no animal ingredients are used, trace amounts might be present simply because of shared manufacturing facility. Want to be transparent about this so you can decide basis this.
